Day’s Play is a side contest that changes each week. It’s fun and you can win Pro Shop credit that can be used for merchandise and greens fees. Your scorecards for the day will be preprinted to indicate that Day's Play. Just pick up your card when you check in at the Pro Shop.

  • Day's Play Descriptions below.

  • We award three places per handicap flight and there are typically three flights.

  • You must have a handicap established order to qualify for Day's Play.

  • For 18 holes, please use Golf Genius to enter your scores for the event. One player in the group can enter for all on a smart phone.  Your score will automatically be posted to GHIN for most Day's Play games.

  • For 9 holes please use Golf Genius to enter your scores for the event. One player in the group can enter for all on a smart phone. BUT, you must post your own score to GHIN.

  • Turn in your scorecards after play in order to be included in the Day’s Play.  Ask a member for the drop off location. 

DAYS PLAY DESCRIPTIONS
 

Best Nine/Five

After you play, enter your Best NET scores for 9 Holes (18 Hole) or 5 Holes (9 Hole). The winners are the players with the lowest net score.
 

Blind 9/5

After you play, enter your NET scores for the 9 Holes (18 Hole )  5 Holes (9 Hole) that have been blind drawn.  The winners are the players with the lowest net score.
 

Chicago Stableford

On your scorecard, using the pop chart, record your NET score for each hole.  Based on the net score, award yourself 1 point for bogey, 2 for par, 3 for birdie, 4 for eagle or better, 0 for all others.
 

Criers

After you play, toss out your two (18 hole) or one (9 hole) worst holes. The winners will be the ones with the lowest NET score. Subtract full handicap 18 hole, ½ handicap 9 hole.
 

Criss Cross

18 Hole Players: Play your normal round of golf.  After play, choose the best hole from 1 or 18, 2 or 17, 3 or 16, 4 or 15, 5 or 14, 6 or 13, 7 or 12, 8 or 11, 9 or 10. 9 Hole Players: Play your normal round of golf.  After play, choose the best hole from 1 or 9, 2 or 8, 3 or 7, 4 or 6, Do not count hole 5.

The winners are the players with the lowest NET score.
 

Easy Holes

The Winners are the players with the lowest total NET score on the easiest holes.

18 Hole (2,3,5,7,11,13,16,17,18) 9 Hole (2,3,5,7) 
 

Even Holes

The Winners are the players with the lowest total NET score on the even-numbered holes.  


Low Net

After you play, total your score and subtract your full handicap (18 hole), or ½ handicap (9 hole). The winners will be the ones with the lowest NET score.
 

Hate 'Em

Before play, choose two holes (18 Hole) or one hole (9 Hole) that you want to throw out. Indicate on card. The winners are the players with the lowest NET score, with predetermined hole excluded.
 

Hardest Holes 

The Winners are the players with the lowest total NET score on the hardest holes.

18 Hole (1,4,6,8,9,10,12,14,15) 9 Hole (1,4,6,8,9) 
 

Low Putts

Keep track of your score and putts separately.  

The Winners are the players with the lowest total number of putts. 
 

Middle of the Hollow

The Winners are the players with the lowest total NET score on the holes “in the middle”

18 Hole (6-14) or 9 Hole (3-7)  
 

Mutt & Jeff

The Winners are the players with the lowest total NET score on the Par 3s and Par 5s
 

NUTTS

Keep track of your score and putts separately. The winners will be the ones with the lowest NET score PLUS number of putts. 
 

Odd Holes

The Winners are the players with the lowest total NET score on the odd-numbered holes.  
 

O.N.E.S

The Winners are the players with the lowest total NET score on the holes that start with O, N, E, S.

18 Hole (1,6,7,8,9,11,16,17,18)  9 Hole (1,6,7,8,9) 
 

Par Fours

The Winners are the players with the lowest total NET score on the par four holes.
 

Tee to Green

Record the number of strokes it takes you to reach the green.    

The winners are the players with the lowest number of strokes to the green.
 

Total T's & F's

The Winners are the players with the lowest total NET score on the holes that start with T & F 18 Hole (2,3,4,5,10,12,13,14,15) 9 Hole (2,3,4,5)  
 

Watering Holes

The Winners are the players with the lowest total NET score on the following holes with water.

18 Hole (2,3,6,7,8,10,11,12,14,18)  9 Hole (2,3,6,7,8)
