CCWGA - fun, friends and fabulous golf since 1990
Welcome to The Coal Creek Women's Golf Association.
Our non-profit league welcomes golfers of all abilities for league play from May through October. We play every Thursday - your choice of 18-hole am, 9-hole am or 9-hole pm groups. The CCWGA offers a fun way to improve your game, meet new friends and enjoy a variety of golf activities. Pay as you go greens fees. We currently have over 150 members. Go to our new MEMBERSHIP page starting in February to join us!
Handicaps - We encourage all players to get an official USGA Handicap Index. Your CCWGA membership fee of $120 includes the GHIN fee necessary for this to happen automatically when you post your scores for every round you play, regardless of course.
Day's Play - During regular league play each week, we include a special contest where everyone competes for prizes in the form of pro shop credit. To qualify for the weekly Day's Play game, you must have a handicap.
Special Events - We offer a variety of individual and team events over the course of the season where you can experience different formats of play.

CCWGA League Rules To Remember Please! • No gimme putts in league golf • Pace of play... keep up with the group ahead of you • No lift, clean and place unless it has been declared by the course • If you create a divot, fill it with sand • No mulligans or do overs • POST all scores...even when you don't like them • WHITE stakes are out of bounds • RED stakes are hazards/penalty areas, not out of bounds. • When you believe your ball is LOST in a penalty area, you cannot hit a provisional • Par plus FIVE is a real thing. STOP there. • Shotgun start means that you are at your starting hole when the start time arrives.
